Monday night...8 o'clock...I can't wait.

It's finally here! The finale of The Bachelor is on Monday night and I can't wait! The very first night of the show I picked Melissa as my favorite girl (because I loved her when she was on the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders show) and now she's one of the final two! I'm just positive that he will choose her over Molly. Melissa is so cute and pretty and fun and you can just tell that Jason loves her. I am very opinionated when it comes to The Bachelor. Just ask Andrea, I have to give positive or negative critisim for every girl on the screen, whether I'm commenting on thier outfit, hair, personality, teeth, shoes, lip gloss, or side burns I always have something to say...poor girls. Haha Clearly I am obssesed with this show, it's pathetic. Oh well... Go Melissa! :)

missing my little man...

I looked at my sister-in-law's blog the other day and ever since then I can't stop thinking about my nephews and how much I miss them. I spent most of this past summer in Spain living with Derek, Lindsey and my nephew Nixon. Derek did a semester of law school in Spain and I went along to help out with Nixon since Linds was 8 months pregnant. We were there for almost two months and it was so much fun! We went to Paris, Rome, Venice, Madrid, Barcelona, and even Pamplona where Derek did running of the bulls but the best part of the whole trip was getting to spend time with Derek and his family. Nixon is the cutest, sweetest, and funniest little kid you will ever meet and I miss him so much it hurts. I've just been thinking about him and our summer adventures so I just thought I'd share a few of our hundreds of pictures we took.

I love you Nixon!

Made With Love <3

This week I sent a Valentine's package to Landry in Alabama. I wasn't exactly sure what to send but I figured you could never go wrong with homemade sugar cookies! My friend Michelle came over and she made some for a guy she's dating while I made some for Elder Peterson. I tried one..and yes, they were delicious. I worked really hard and tried to be really creative (which is rare for me) so hopefully they won't all be ruined by the time they get to him! But, don't worry, I sent a picture of what they are supposed to look like just in case they are all smushed when he gets them. We had so much fun. I need more excuses to make sugar cookies again!

Is This Wierd?

I decided to start a blog tonight because I think it's a good idea for keeping in touch with family and friends and it could be a good way to entertain me when I'm bored (which recently is all the time). My boyfriend, Landry, just left on his mission a month ago and since he's been gone I've noticed I have a lot of free time on my hands. I guess I was just used to spending all that time with him! So now I'm just trying to find ways to eat up my time and keep me from missing him too much, and since I'm having bad luck with finding a job and I only have school 2 days a week, I think blogging is a good idea. But is it wierd if I have a blog? Aren't they just supposed to be for like married people with families and cute kids...not young, unmarried, bored girls? Let me now right now, before I even get started, if this is wierd because this will be totally embarrassing and I'll delete it if it is! Haha!
